Role Overview:
As the Flamebearer of FYRE & MANA, a Genesis Founder, you will oversee the financial health, liquidity, and capital management strategy of SagaHalla. You will be responsible for managing the cooperative’s fundraising, capital allocation, and long-term financial sustainability. This role is a membership opportunity, focused on leading strategic financial initiatives, managing risk, and ensuring the cooperative’s capital is used efficiently to support both cooperative and sponsored projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the cooperative’s treasury and capital strategy, ensuring efficient liquidity management and optimal use of funds.
  • Oversee capital allocation, fundraising efforts, and investment strategies to support the cooperative’s growth and project development.
  • Manage the treasury's assets, including cryptocurrency holdings and traditional assets, ensuring financial sustainability and risk mitigation.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external financial partners, investors, and stakeholders to secure capital contributions for the cooperative.
  • Ensure compliance with global financial regulations, focusing on cross-border transactions and international treasury operations.
  • Implement financial controls, auditing systems, and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability within the treasury.
  • Monitor the performance of capital investments and ensure capital allocation aligns with cooperative principles and long-term goals.
  • Work closely with other Genesis Founders to align financial strategy with the cooperative’s mission and governance framework.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Expertise in treasury management, capital strategy, and financial risk management, with a focus on cooperative or community-driven organizations.
  • Proven experience in managing both traditional and blockchain-based financial systems, including cryptocurrency and tokenomics.
  • Familiarity with international treasury operations and compliance with global financial regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in developing capital allocation and investment strategies for long-term financial sustainability.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage with investors, partners, and cooperative members.
  • Passion for decentralized governance, cooperative economics, and community-led financial models.
