Role Overview:

The Genesis Founder – Active Sponsor is a key contributor providing critical capital for the foundational development of SagaHalla. This role is not merely a passive investment opportunity but requires active participation in the cooperative's governance and strategic decision-making. Active investors will provide financial resources to support the operational needs of SagaHalla and will be compensated with MANA Tokens, representing governance rights and decision-making power within the cooperative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capital Contributions: Provide necessary financial resources to support the pre-formation operations of SagaHalla and ensure its long-term sustainability.
  • Active Governance Participation: Engage in cooperative governance by exercising voting rights and participating in key strategic decisions, including project selection, governance amendments, and cooperative initiatives.
  • Strategic Input: Collaborate with the Council of Genesis Founders and other members to provide insights and recommendations for the cooperative’s financial strategies and project investments.
  • Support Cooperative Growth: Actively contribute to the cooperative’s vision and growth by participating in regular discussions and strategic planning sessions.
  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in financial investment or resource allocation within blockchain or cooperative models.
  • Strong understanding of decentralized governance and cooperative principles.
  • Ability to provide strategic input and collaborate with other members of the cooperative on key financial and governance decisions.
  • Commitment to actively participating in governance, not just as an investor but as a steward of SagaHalla’s long-term mission.
